Fear A Terrible Nightmare

Robert Isaacs Chiwala

I was falling asleep

When this nightmare began

A strange person in my room

Bending over my bed, to strangle me to death

My heart carried away, in fright

Racing, swiftly pounding; waking up

Wild scream escorting, fighting mode activated

Disturbed sleep, drowsy eyes strugglingly opened

Then, sorry -a silly laugh, next room friend

Got lost, thought he is in his own

Bending over into my bed, to sleep

My piercing scream shook him up
