Takes me back a bit & then some .. Friday nights particularly spring to mind ..

    • arqios

For some neatly packed away, even catalogued. For others a mess of odds and ends hopefully never to be remembered again. But all there if we care to look.

    • 2781

      Bald Hill?

      • arqios

Among others, it would seem 2781.

        A bad-hair day?!

        • arqios

bad day for big haired heads.

Methinks this is a reflection of early experience - A long-ago memory of trying to beat the results of a boozing weekend ? - -

          • arqios

Many are the bygone day and moments of long ago memory and some of them manage to pop up and remind us in reflected sparkles on dark nights.

The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune will always get us, no matter how big or small, or even minute they be. In our simplest flaws of character, we realize our own vulnerabalities and how little we control. Wisely worded dear poet.

Forewarned it seems is forearmed and also a well on the way to being forewarmed. Thanks kindly.

              'out of arms reach'
but not far from reverie's, reveal
oft, what we forget, regrets n all
              we so enthusiastically, recall
              (love the metaphorical, poetic layering
a lovely read, thank you dear Poet)

              • arqios

...life is quite an entanglement of layering, quite lovely in its untangling. Thanks L.B.

                • L. B. Mek

every time I see/hear the word entanglement
I cringe, thinking of will smith and his millionaire
                  nightmares;
choosing the right partner, is a life skill
avoiding the wrong partner, a prerequisite
                  to surviving, life
                  ..poor guy
                  lol
