Harsh Reality Of Phone

Real Rhyme

Leave the phone aside,

It's an idiotic Device.

It keeps you busy all the time,

And disturbs your mind.

It is not good for eyes,

It also spoils your diet,

and teaches you how to speak lies.

It keeps you busy in the night,

which damages your eyesight.

Because of it, you don't exercise,

which puts to halt your growing height.

Leave the phone aside,

Before you lose your life.

I don't own a smart phone, (too ancient to be caught up in all that) but from observation of others, I'd say you may well be on the money.

Also found your "About Me' on your home page amusing. However could you add your location you'd be surprised how knowing this can help in understanding what you mean sometimes.

Anyway , enjoy your stay at MPS - it is an interactive site and works best when poets read other's work and comment, also respond to commentary on their own work.

Thank you for your inspiring comment. Will definitely look into adding my location.😊

      wonderfully witty, and relatable
      thanks for sharing
      (I read a book recently
where the character only had one charger in his flat
and it was purposely placed in the kitchen
every night he would charge his phone
insuring he wouldn't be tempted to take his phone to bed
and stay up scrolling all night long
      lol
the things we're forced to do, to counter
      progression's, vices...)

Thanks for your encouraging words. Yeah, it is amazing that every person finds a unique solution for a common problem.
