Sappy

jewelwrites55

Love makes me sappy like bristles on a pine

Know you read when I write so I obsess over every line

Naïve for thinking we were happy

Always had your back never turned to look at mine

Just believed you were there

You’re Carbon monoxide to my air

Began to crush me from the insides out

my love was oozing, refused to subject you to drought

I’m better for what we’ve been through

And thought it hurts I could never blame you

I lost myself to love you

Now I must climb til I’m above you

a powerful mentality to try and cultivate
    a gift, that cqn become
    an unflinching foundation
for the rest of your life
    ('universe may have designed
    planets to circle the Sun
    but we
can try n sure our world
    revolves around, us!')
more power to you, stay strong
