All Art
Begins at that same starting line
Inspiration, whispering
A feeling or destination, beyond
That we consider tangible
Yet in reach of realism’s, fingertip
The rest, is all excavation
Digging dip, further than we’ve ever
Traversed, within imagination’s
Unfathomable, yet innately intelligible
So then, dear poet kin
Rejoice at that blank canvas and let us all
Begin!

Such very true words Mek. BEGIN!
Andy
forgive my belated reply, thank you Andy
indeed, we have Began!
The poem reminds us that creating art is not always easy, but that it is always worth the effort.
indeed, so true dear poet
worth the wait and all those waged wars
with our delete button, lol
how very clever and how very true .. but mostly, muchly enjoyed by this old fella too ..
nicely done, Hyung
who needs music when we can tap dance
in-time, to your musicality's poetic rhymes
😁
I think we'd make for a good tennis match-up
or a decent episode of chuckle brothers
'to you, to me'
'what a pair of old fellas, we be'
lol
L.B. So true. At times a spark appears, so trasitory,. If we can but catch it before it goes out. But then the work begins, to nurture it into a flame. Was it Einstein that said "it is one percent inspiration and nintynine percent perspiration"? How many times we loose the flame and have to start over from the ashes. Very nicely said dear poet.
great comment! how insightful kind friend
(ashes, yielding the best planting soil
ask those once, lava fields
our canvas too, gifts that much more
when we prevail, over those
binned efforts and continue to dream
of that one line or syllable
which brings it all together, like never before)
lol
Well Done, Mr.:Mek. BRAVO! Stay Up, My Brother.
as best i can brother
thank you! kind Poet
yes, let us begin, or in some cases, take up the unfinished work where we had left off..
so true
still, everything has its time
glad you could relate, dear poet
thank you!
True to the core!
'from one truth seeking core, to another'
glad you could relate, dear cherished friend
thanks for checking-in!
Very inspiring! If you have the opportunity, please read my Jazz Liberation-somehow we were on the same wave length, composing in music metaphors…
thank you!
