Wisdom for the road

Norman Flagtea

* Beware of holidays.

* Get up early and your love will grow.

* Use a different language often.

* Go see the church/temple/mosque.

* Armies will never change.

* Ride in the back of a pick-up truck.

* Play "house".

* Joy comes and goes.

* Can you sing?

* Eat pancakes.

* Water is fine.

* Look at it as sport.

* Kiss the girl in the pup tent.

* Always carry something to read and write.

* Stay up all night and watch the sunrise.

* Get lost.

* Have a good woolen blanket.

* Old fashioned radio plays.

* Hot strong tea does the job.

* Visit the cemetery.

* Rain is good.

* Count your blessings.

* Camp fire and Northern Lights.

* Visit the library and take your time in the poetry section. You might want to copy some.

* Accept loss.

* "Awesome, a bus driver who likes Emily Dickinson."

* But the greatest among them is silence.

    Whatever floats your boat, my friend.
    Some amusement to be obtained therein.

      Thank you, Dave! I do look at the world with a smile. But I am serious all the same.
