Can't you see?
She wants to be freed.
Wants to fly high and meet
her savior, her knight in shining armor.
She wants her wings to grow,
not to be cut off.
To be able to spread them and feel the fresh air on her back,
For pure air, she lacks.
She wants to hug a rose,
not a steam with just thorns.
Be able to embrace someone,
without fearing nothing and no one.
She craves happiness,
to be able to watch the stars on a building,
and the world hearing her laughing.
But all you give her is your sadness and
Your greed, wanting her to be this statue,
to eternally stay.
For you know that one day,
She will grow tired of believing
in the image of an admirable flower.
And see the reality that you have just lost all of your wonder.
