Tune: St Theodulph
('All glory, laud, and honour')
Matthew 21 v.1-11 parts
***********
Chorus
Journey to Jerusalem
It joyful though solemn
Jesus on humble donkey
Makes His way, all folk see
Tell the people of Zion
It was prophesied then
By Zechariah, prophet
Your King comes to you yet - Chorus
Great multitude their garments
With worshipful intent
Spread them on the road, some they
Strew palm branches in way - Chorus
Or waved them, praising their King
Jubilant sings did sing
Their cry, 'Hosanna to Son
Of David', Christ the One - Chorus
Blessed He that comes in the name
Of the Lord, Christ the same
Hosanna, Save now, we pray
In this salvation day - Chorus
Hosanna in the highest
Through Christ all peoples blessed
Jerusalem, whole city
Moved, enquired, 'Who this be?' - Chorus
'Tis Jesus the prophet sure
Spotless Lamb of God pure
From Nazareth, [in] Galilee
Revealed for all to see - Chorus

I am sure this is a fine hymn poem and most fitting for this Sunday .. I also recall 'All Glory Laud & Honour' from when I was a choirboy 🌴🐭🐧🌴
Thanks N. There's a more modern version, but the syllables are pesky to fit to it! Them 'format' thingys.
