Triangular Twin Flames

martie borthwick

Once upon a time their stars aligned

Making their fates and orbits inevitable

Embodied souls split between two people

Reeled by each other's essence

Not knowing what they will become

One moment lit the room and the untouched forever took flame

A love so deep their spiritual connection bonded between the divine feminine

Blindly went into the deep end

Being called out Twin Flames

They are meant to be

But their love became a game of chess to masterminds

What once was love was now a feeling of remorse

Separated became past and present tense

They were meant to be

Showing up at each other's doorsteps 6 years later in togetherness of one moment in time

It is written in the Universe already

They are Endgame

That was once a Triangular Twin Flame

Became just 'them'

Called Twin Flames

  • Comment from author about the poem: We get easily get carried away with love and hate trying to balance relationships out. Yet, twin flames is a kind of essence that a way back, connecting two souls that will find a way back. In life we don't get anything back in case it is written in the Universe. Two of my friends went through a similar situation. 6 years later and they found their way back to each other which inspired this poem. Twin Flames gave me a meaning I never knew existed.
