Call Me What You Want

ForeverJesus7

Call me what you want,

but I know the truth.

My thoughts are not your thoughts.

My ways are not what you do.

Call me what you want,

if you think I did,

something wrong,

or said something,

that I should not have said;

if you think I should have,

done something else instead,

I know that in the end,

it's ME that's going to Heaven.

  • Comment from author about the poem: I wrote this piece because for the last month and a half, I have had a broken ankle, and I was very bored. Now I may have another month of wearing it. I don't see wear this poem fits in here, but it seems relevant. I suppose that people often expect something from you, and when your life is not how they want it; apparently you've done something wrong. This piece is about no one in particular. Keep the faith. Persistence is key
