The Session
What is sought is beautiful, what is wanted is needed.
The buzz, the excitement , the ecstatic felt sensations.
Its the love, the connection, the freedom and expression. The powerful depth of openness allows for expression to be safe. The allowance of expression is the lead front of connection.
What is sought is aliveness. What is desired is acceptance.
The session is a mask of discomfort, a disconnector of true self.
The need for intoxication to be open and free is not the natural way we should be.
The unconscious and truth is spoken and expressed when one is intoxicated.
Lets make the unconscious conscious. So that we can all be free.
We do not need drugs and alcohol to feel Alive, safe and free.
It wasn't so long ago mankind didn't have this soul damager, disconnector and pain causer. I sit in wonder to what this was like back then.

- Comment from author about the poem: Alcohol and drugs run a large part of this world. Damaging and destroying humans , families , communities and lands. The session I speak upon is one including these. A large proportion of us, including I at one stage have been led to feel as though we cannot have fun, be open, dance and feel safe to express what's going on inside unless we are intoxicated (unconscious) with alcohol or drugs. We all know how people speak their truth or open up and have the deeper conversations when intoxicated. These soul destroying substances have took control of our ways. They have broken enough and it is time to see them for what they are and know where they came from and why they are here.
