I’d hear callings, so I bled the red that was demanded. The sacrifices satisfied them, but realizing the arts couldn’t be shared was when loneliness struck.
The vampiric curses were amusing, and other times they sucked
Thankfully you saw me for more than my flesh, you enjoyed my blood and gloom. My bluddy you give me comfort, steadiness, and somehow, silence?
You say vampiric whispers follow your steps, yet I hear nothing when you appear, it seems for me, you’re noise canceling when near
Now I can enjoy life and sunlight, with the occasional upside-down batty view, all without those strange calls
Now that I can stop and reflect, vampiric visages use to haunt me, but now I just don’t see them at all
