…..The beast with two backs isn’t a freak of nature; it’s inherited, that makes it inherent; we get it from our parents, homegrown attributes are repeated over and over again, like it’s a race we trying to win. Our feelings is king, our egos are gold and our facts are untold, so there’s no sense in asking for justifications or explanations, just be my victim and get placated, as I commit selfish acts, that aren’t hesitated; your friends as well as those unknown to you are on my sexual plate, backseats of cars and motel rooms are most likely our fate, something I know you would later hate, but it makes me feel like a fat person who just ate, it’s not personal, but your attitude does trigger it at times, so I seek revenge with friends of ours, a silent victory when you leave for work at nine, I’ll keep track of the time, I’ll climax while you grind, be sleep before your first break, later we’ll both have a slice of your favorite cake, and listen to some Drake as we talk about how you be acting fake, even though when it comes to taking care of me, you’d pull your shoulder out of place.

(really related with your words
but i felt you were referring
to cheating, outside of the ohysical realms
sorry if I interpreted this wrong
thanks for sharing, another poignant read
dear Poet)
equality of merit in our relationships
is that dream, we dare not remember
best
to slide with those mirages of life
like drake, feigning that hip hop lore
'started from the bottom'
(of middle class Canadian comfort)
our love, too
if we're being truthful, not a warzone
like most
we just, take each other for granted
at time's
we forget, just how fallible we are:
' Our feelings is king, our egos are gold
and our facts are untold,
so there’s no sense in asking for justifications
or explanations,'
It’s always was amazing to me how selfish some people can be, often times they were never told no as a child and are extremely selfish
yes, it's that strange line of divide in society, i think
we need parent's to be invested in their children, enough
to utilise 'tough love', anticipating
what behavioural patterns need to be corrected, early
yet, we flinch any time we witness a parent
admonishing their child in public;
and so, some parent's choose that easy root in life
of giving-in and trying to keep their homes
a mirage of smiles and appeasement
then later, we public have to deal
with that adult child, who doesn't understand
life isn't all self gratification and wilful vehemence
sometimes, we gotta share
half of our ideal, to garner a slice of happiness
in life...
Just one of our many hypocrites.
