Cut it once but measure twice
Is mighty fine carpentry advice
Do this this with your favorite wood
And things'll turn out like they should

This is a very good life lesson in general. Always calculate everything you do to make sure its the right decision. Stoatin'!

Thanx for the comment MG.
Maybe so, but I am much more likely to eyeball it and cut first! I am not sure if think this is good advice, but your little ditty is in the great tradition of ancient didactic poetry-- how to farm, how to cure disease, etc. Poetry and advice often go hand in hand!
Thanx for the comment J54.
