It feels as if the hippies have found
an oil mine for capitalism
oil in spirituality
spending 2k on 1BR rent
to act in a societal play
comfort it brings, no police is nice
still I understand now
why Yuan Mei didn’t bow
to the Buddhas
still I have good intentions
Maybe even feelings
Toward the people here
