Joys that had sorrows within

Times that were wasted over nothing

And love that was overpowered by hatred

Was there a chance to love?

Promises that were made to deceive

Tears that were used to manipulate

Happiness that were felt behind our sorrows

Is this how love is supposed to feel?

Love that turned into hatred in a mist

Hearts that were broken by decisions that were made in anger

And health that was put in risk for the sake of love

Is there a chance that I can survive this?

Trust that is broken

Emotions that are overwhelmed

And love that will never be rekindled
