An Influencer

Shaunmatthewcpoetry

You don't search inside
For where you, yourself reside
Following an influencer online
Thinking it's okay, I'll be fine
I'm trying to be kind
Why did you leave those morals behind?
Just be you
Turn off the random YouTube dude
Be more shrewd

I was looking not so much at 'influencing' as 'inferring', relating to how to learn a new language. Not that I'm actually learning one now! It's more about the process of actually learning. Doh!
It means we may get the gist of another language, by the words we already know in another language, and so the words are 'inferred' to us.
Am I talking garbage, or do you follow?! lol.

love this! especially that sarcastic undertone
it rhymes in-beat with that cynic pulse, in me
          lol
(i find it funny, when people click
          watch and comment
'why are you ding this' blah blah blah
          an i'm like
well, they're doing this cause you're paying them to
          with every click ...
          so then, i'm left wondering
          why
          are you, doing 'this'
          lol
          people be crazy sometimes
          yet
it's not very funny, is it...
watching a live stream of society's
          collective degradation)

Haha yes, it's so weird isn't it. I don't really understand these "influencers" my friend told me I should write a poem about them so that's what I did really.
