Tune: Melcombe
('New every morning is the love')
Matthew 27 v.57-66 parts
********
A waiting time, Jesus had died
Uncertainty seemed to preside
Joseph of Arimathea
Had laid Him in his own tomb, see
There witnesses, the two Marys
Saw the scene, the story agrees
Joseph at tomb door rolled great stone
Placed Jesus' body there, it known
Soldiers asked Pilate for a guard
For tomb-escape it would be hard
They said, Lest His disciples steal
Jesus away, this their appeal
Yet truth came to pass, Jesus said
Three days and I will rise from dead
We may share His resurrection
Eternal life denied to none

I believe this is perfectly timed ..
Thanks N. Should I call KP Eve? lol.
This is such a beautiful Easter verse dear Orchi. The story invokes such a sense of peace, that all will be right now, a prophecy fulfilled.
Thanks Bella.
