Mere Fantasy

Fae Amy

Ice covering the lake

I desperately tried to drown in

Broken by the world

I sought pain instead of shelter

Don´t you know you saved me?

Don´t you know you rescued me?

The snowstorm is not cold anymore

The dark does not frighten me any longer

It was the same day, the very same song

Playing on repeat until you entered my life

Sometimes it was so silent

I couldn´t hear myself speak

But now with you here

I can hear the birds sing again

The world suddenly has colors once more

As though you painted me red with your blood

There is this spark in your eyes

Longing to be loved

Let me take this little light

Turn it into a wildfire inside my heart

Cold for so long, I wish to warm us both

Hold me close, hold me tight

I will do the same

Let me be your mirror

Let me your reflection

Oh, I love you so

I love you so

Have I told you

I love you so
