Love Letter to God

Parisab

I am in your presence

like the rose, red from the thorn

Every petal is a letter

signed in your name

I look up for your rain of grace,

I regret I don’t deserve

In your mercy I remain still

‘til one gentle breeze kiss

blushes my cheeks

I bend from the storm of shame

The stem breaks

but you restore without blame

I have a habit of writing them, then throwing them away .. I know each one is subsequently found and read in full each and every day ... well penned .. Gestalt would have a field day .. Neville

Such a great poetic expression of what we should say to God, being unworthy of His immense grace.
