Easter Sunday

Shaunmatthewcpoetry

It's Easter morning
I'm not really yawning
Out in the fresh air
Walking and exploring
Stepping on the concrete pavement
State of the uneven cement
Who gave up chocolate for lent?
Gone are the days of the true gent
Eggs and crosses
Bunnies and Jesus
Keep the spells away from us
On an educational journey
But too old for the school bus
