Fault

2781

What is the fault

Who shone the way

Eyes darkened

Voices dismay

What brought us to the crux

Nonsense exalted

Reason snuffed

We where given dominion

To take care of all

We have exploited

And glory in war

It's a sad indictment

Of what the world has become

Our fearless leaders

Not mirroring His son

If we searched our hearts

We might find the way

In each of us is hidden the truth

The answers revealed

In our reproof

In one

All things were created

To regain control

To Him

We must be mated.

You know I'm gonna say this - erm, there's no fault in this good write! lol.

I hope not, time will tell! Thanks for the encouragement x.

Well, there is a fault, as you explain, but not a fault with the fine poem - if you follow?! lol

even devoid of any theological alignment
I can't help marvelling at the power faith can afford
those who choose to wield it for good
        wonderfully written, dear Poet

Thank you, kind sir. The "truth" will set us free.

Great write. Unfortunately, as I’ve aged increasingly I’ve lost faith in human nature.
