Sometimes !

Iqra Khan

One day this happened to me,

That after the evening

Pleasure climbed my door

Entered my home.

And

Whispered in my ear.

Whispering like bird chirps.

I was shocked for a while

Because

I had heard that jangle voice

Sometimes

In the fields.

Had seen same pleasure

Sometimes flying in the sky.

I met with same pleasure,

Sometimes walking on my way.

I had shaken hands with pleasure,

Sometimes in the morning breeze.

I had loved that pleasure,

Sometimes at sky-high roof.

I had conversation with pleasure,

Sometimes in the darkest nights.

I had picked that pleasure,

Sometimes from jubilant plants.

By the way

I had kicked that pleasure

Sometimes

When I ghosted all my dreams.

But

I had missed the pleasure

Sometimes when I was alone.

And

Pleasure whispered that,

She likes my way.

She could be mine,

By putting her hands in mine.

With magnificent look,

I embraced her request.

Sometimes

I feel happy on my decision.

Now I live with pleasure,

In my dreams.

I feel tranquil at all !
