Stars fall

Tears gleam

Up above

 

Like you are too blind to see

What lays beneath

All the lies

And all the things

Society tried to teach you

 

Like there is no way

You could fix all of it

Just live through it

Day by day

 

Yet here you are

Stronger than ever before

With no real goal

No path ahead of you

An empty head

With burning thoughts

Threatening to eat you up alive

 

And you try to smile

You want to please them all

Because you care for them

 

But in the end

You will feel so unloved

Like it never made any sense

To begin with

 

The mistake here is not you

Nor them

It´s the time and the place

The shape and the face

 

All you see

All you feel

Is nothing but reality

 

Break out of the desire

The dreams and the fire

 

Devour me alive
