Along with a crane, where does he play, an old foregoer.
The traces of the past have already vanished, and seagulls roam over
The sea. When the ashes of the queen were scattered, the Reformation turned
To ashes also. The imposing skyscrapers shed tears rather.

- Comment from author about the poem: The Haeundae is seashore which is located in Busan in Korea. I wrote a poem on this seashore. Firstly I wrote in Chinese traditional poem and translated in English. Haeundae is a beach where the traces of the late scholar, Goh-Woon Choi Chi-won remained. Mr. Choi, who had left politics, stayed in Haeundae for a while, admiring the scenery and writing. The plan that Mr. Choi had prepared for the revival of the declining dynasty was to be discarded after Queen Jinseong's abdication due to the corrupt nobles who were addicted to the Bone-rank system. However, when Queen Jinseong died and was hastily cremated, all the reform policies that Mr. Choi and Queen Jinseong had planned were also destroyed, and Silla began to decline. After leaving Haeundae, Mr. Choi went to live with alone in Gayasan with a crane, and now I wonder where he is playing around. The skyscrapers which were related with the corruption shed tears at the wind blowing.
