Let me

differ

LET ME SEE IT
TOUCH IT, HOLD IT
LET ME, PLEASE

Breath, live, devour it, all (y)our pain

Let me shudder under strain

For once of other, not myself

Still other self, more reason why

Alongside you I beg to suffer

Oh easy joy, but easy half

A bond was cast, it best be whole

To frame a canvas, white with will

Make-believe in broad brush, bright paint

Believe to live and watch it wake

Torch lies, and Give to make it

Real

Through we to world and back within

To what we made it, words unknown

Call it… what? you will? Just call it

Firm and true, but maybe silent

Stride from solitary chaos

Soul as steel, and sole to coldest stone

Crushing, breaking, letting go,

So locked in step, with it, with me, with us.
