Dear Bard, did some googling on this one and found the answers to my questions. In doing so I learned something about the Cornish tongue, and it is lovely. I'm a huge fan of "Doc Martin", and scenes of the beautiful Cornish coast. What a delightful piece, thank you!

Doc Martin is quite the teleseries! Gotta find the reruns.

I was raised in gullworthy cottages a mere spit from the banks of the good old Tamar who has featured variously amongst my own little scribbles over a good many years .. Girt lush squire .. I will have to give lady Fay a nudge since I believe she resides thereabouts ... Neville

Having been raised for the first two years of my life in a mining town (Now a ghost town) so the lines: "ghosts of centuries of mining towns and specters of legend" have a special meaning for me. Although they say that one does not remember befor they aquire language I have vivid visual memories of this mountain mining town that the details were confirked by my parents. In this town in a house next to ours there was a card game where a man was shot to death and the word spectre has meaning. dydh da to you as well.

Thanks Soren. And yes, I have memories from before I could form words, snippets of images and short 'reels' as it were and have had my older family members confirmed the accuracy of those wordless memories which I later on relayed to them.
