I’ve always known I’m different

Primrose

I’ve always known I’m different

I’ve never been the “bad kid”

The smartest or the class clown

I’ve never been miss popular

Just the one that hangs around

Most people have their circles

But I’m outside reaching in

I’ve got my hand stretched out

Hoping for a win

I’m often close to “miss popular”

But not her group of friends

I swear I’ve tried to get to know them

But they won’t let me in

A lot of those early bloomers fade with age. The late one have to longevity.

Fear not Primrose, you're not alone, as those circles need to reach out as we reach in. 😉
