One Year and Four Months

All these tears and pain that came from the heart,
I never thought that we would actually fall apart.

When we called and told each other “forever”,
Now that you’re gone, I thought to myself that we should’ve said “never”.

Your voice, sweet messages, funny stories, comforting words and virtual kisses,
Are some of the things about you that I will miss.

As I sat in the corner of my room thinking about you,
My tears wouldn’t stop even though it’s past due.

I never thought that things would end like this.
Because every moment we spent together always felt like a bliss.

I know that I may sound too corny,
But even after all that happened, you’re still my one and only.

I tried so hard so hard to save our relationship.
Even though it almost felt like Jack and Rose with their sinking ship.

It hurts so deep it almost felt like a knife,
But as they say, wounds heal and I’ll go on with my life.
