Strangers

poon

The sun within you, the clouds that surround you
And all the shades you colour yourself in,
I’ve seen it, known it
Basked in your sun, stood in your rain
Coloured myself in all your hues
Yet a stranger i am now,
A stranger to your touch, your feel, your affection
A stranger craving your sun, hoping for your rain
Brushing new colours over your fading ones.
