Losing Interest

FallingAwake2

Where the pleasure’s in pursuit,

I’m defeated by this loss of rhythm…

Your vetting feels like hesitance,

I feel unwanted, and then unwilling.

Now I’m dressed in disappointment,

As I’m stripped of that spark,

But it’s me letting you down.

When unknowingly,

You did your part.
