Her first heartbreak

sincerelymarie

I unconsciously sought your comfort

In the arms of those who would reject me too-

They made me feel unworthy of stillness

I’ve lost myself trying to create homes in hearts that weren’t built for me

stillness

, I still crave it.

'They made me feel unworthy of stillness'
    so powerful
    when we distil, lifeline
    genius wisdom
    to accessibly worded
    poetic efficacy...
    thank you, dear Poet
    I read and learn
    (ain't it funny, how easily
    we allow ourselves
    to concede, our right
to be who or what, we choose to be
    assuming
    their collective, righteousness
has more power, than our strife
    crystalized
    self awareness, how sad
    when tomorrow, they'll claim they
    once
loved us for that same, resolve
    we surrendered
    just to belong, to that
we know, we so vehemently despise...!)
