Eid Mubarak

Abu Wafi Palathumkara

On this joyous day of Eid Al Fitr,

We bid Ramadan a fond farewell,

A month of fasting, prayer and reflection,

That in our hearts will forever dwell.

We welcome now the month of Shawwal,

With open arms and joyful hearts,

A time of celebration and renewal,

As the spirit of Ramadan departs.

May Allah bless us with His grace,

And guide us on the path of light,

As we continue on our journey,

Through the day and into the night.

Let us come together in unity,

And spread love and peace all around,

For Eid Al Fitr is a time of joy,

And in that joy, true happiness is found.

So let us rejoice and give thanks,

For the blessings that we have received,

And pray for a future full of hope,

Where all of humanity can be relieved.

Ramadan we sought forgiveness,

And worked to purify our souls,

We turned our hearts towards Allah,

And achieved a higher goal.

We fasted from dawn until dusk,

And abstained from food and drink,

And in doing so, we felt the pain,

Of those in need, we stopped to think.

Now we enter the month of Shawwal,

A time of joy and celebration,

Where we come together as one,

And share in the love of our nation.

Let us remember the lessons of Ramadan,

And carry them with us through the year,

Let us strive to be better Muslims,

And spread kindness far and near.

May Allah bless us with His mercy,

And guide us to the straight path,

As we move forward in faith and love,

And embrace the future with a hopeful heart.

Eid Mubarak to all,

Let us rejoice and be glad,

For today is a day of happiness,

And our spirits are truly glad.
