Falling from Grace

lisztmsv

each passing breath to each passing day

there's a mistake waiting to be made

I feel haunted, I feel torn apart

Crushing under the weight of expectation,

is my broken, tattered heart

I can't breathe

The air is collapsing around me

The pressure is expanding

All surrounding

Falling from up above I say goodbye to the clouds

I loved.

Falling from grace

Tears pour down my face

Forgive me god for being your

Disgrace.

  • Comment from author about the poem: This poem I wrote with the feeling of regret and past mistakes. Of my failures and flaws. I feel apologetic and acceptance for all I have done wrong. I wrote this poem as a message to myself that I don't have to attain perfection. In spite of that sometimes you just have to fall and not care what the world may say.

  • The Fallen one

You laid it all out there. You captured my attention, and not only did I feel your pain, you spoke to my heart. And I am sure you would many others. Many of us don’t identify or accept or past transgressions. Great read, great emotion. TY

Thank you so much for your amazing feedback I really appreciate your positive words:)
More often than not I try to ignore the pain but on the other hand it demands to be felt.
