Fall of Man

Joakim Bergen

Skinned from Eden, man, reveal

Yourself to me - I the earthly

Spirit; he who beckons thee!

Spirit-shaped son of mud,

Stardust shadow born of death;

Down the dew of Eden, march

T'wards the gate of gates!

But, alas, serpent wed, your mistress

Savours the fruit of gods; wisdom

Most forbidden plagues mankind's heart!

To be finished.
