Notice of absence from Neville
If I get the thumbs up tomorrow from my Doc, I hope to be in Miami on Friday for three days before jumping ship and spending three weeks sailing around South America .. Sheesh, what we do to try n get a touch of inspiration eh' .. Take care while I'm away & please forgive any delay in my going quiet for a while .. Whereas love,
is something else entirely ..

The poem is an excellent example of how simplicity can sometimes be the most powerful tool in poetry.

a new chapter of a book
more like a new, movie
or song, or picture book
that has us trying to rewind
Time, since
minute we think we've got it
sussed
that left hook comes, to greet
without deigning to inform us
our romance, dance
has now evolved in-to that
battlefield of love
