Adrenaline?

Audrey A.

Whoo whoo whoo
The heart's a resounding whoo
It beats so loud
It's warm, endowed
I can't be sure
But I must endure
A visitor in wait
To show me the gate
The heat is insane
I must lay off the grain
As I feed bits to fate
I contemplate what is state
How a body will procure
To purge is the cure
I'm no longer a cloud
And I'm very proud
That I learned what you do
Whoo whoo whoo

  • Comment from author about the poem: This poem describes the moment I chose to stay still during a panic? attack. Hence the name Adrenaline? with the question mark. This seemed like different than anxiety, like 100 fold different. Whoo whoo whoo, not wowowowowowowowo.
