FOOD

That writer Bree

Oh food, how I adore thee!

Your aroma fills the air,

And tempts me with your savory,

Sweet, or spicy flair.

You nourish and sustain me,

My sweet comfort and delight,

From simple pleasures like buttered toast,

To feasts all night.

You bring together family and friends,

In celebration and in need,

With each bite, we find communion,

As we share in this delicious feed.

From earthy roots to soaring peaks,

You come in many forms,

And whether cooked or raw, you please,

And help us weather any storm.

Oh food, you are a true blessing,

A gift to be savoured and enjoyed,

And with gratitude, we give thanks,

For all the ways you bring us joy.

                                           Love, B.

I wish I still felt this way about food! I deleted the sulfur smell and became a super smeller. Now I smell nasty odors and can't eat most foods.

May you never see this curse!

It is good for man to eat and drink and enjoy the fruits of his labour, it is the gift of God.
