I was in darkness while the Sun was shining for everyone,
A shadow fell upon my soul, a chill that couldn't be undone.
The world around me seemed so bright, so full of joy and glee,
But I was lost in my own despair, with no hope left in me.

I saw death while everyone lived, a specter by my side,
It whispered secrets in my ear, and I could not abide.
Its icy fingers touched my heart, and froze it with its breath,
And all around me, life went on, oblivious to my death.

I cried out for a ray of hope, a glimmer in the night,
But all I heard were echoes of my sorrow and my plight.
The darkness seemed to swallow me, a grave that had no end,
And I knew that I was doomed to live in darkness to the end.

so now I wander through this life, a shadow in the sun,
and though I see the world around, I cannot be escape.
