A Thirst For Love

sakthi

Amidst the ploughed lands

lay he,

adored by God Apollo himself,

 and adorned with miniscule

of life itself !

Plush with thorns

of life,

he lay as silent as the grave,

Entrapping his wandering guests,

with his bountiful charm

only to be engulfed

by himself !

Filled with love

he lay,

as his friend breezed through him

and his world twirled,

for , in the deep bottoms

of himself,

he saw her

who was earning to come up

only to be washed down

by his thirst for her!

so he lay there ,

forever until time pauses ,

lonely yet lively

still awaiting her presence

to quench his thirst for love !
