A Little Chipped

AMusings

I am an empty vessel, hollow and bare,
A shell of what I once was, stripped of all care.
I wander through life with a sense of unease,
Wondering when I'll find the strength to please.

I try to search for something to ignite,
A spark of passion, a ray of light,
But all I find is an endless void,
A space that's dark and unexplored.

I wander through life with an aimless stride,
Feeling lost, with nowhere to hide,
My soul aching for something to hold,
But all I find is this emptiness, cold.

I wish I could find a way to be,
To fill this void that's consuming me,
To find the joy that I once knew,
And let this emptiness be through.

My heart is heavy, my soul is weary,
I search for meaning, but everything seems dreary.
I long for a purpose, a reason to exist,
To feel alive again, to no longer resist.

But for now, I am an empty vessel,
Awaiting the moment when I'll feel full and blessed.
I'll keep searching, I'll keep striving,
Until the day when my spirit comes alive.

Until then, I'll hold on to hope and faith,
And trust that someday, I'll find my place.
For even an empty vessel has worth,
And can be filled with beauty and mirth.
