A Truth and a lie

Shaheer Agha

Many moons ago, i thought i met the one. Her soul and mine collided, stars started to tremble and collide, we looked in each others eyes as too souls conjoined causing these beautiful sparks, sparks that turned into an eternal flame of love and chaos  like a phoenix that rises from the ashes. Her eyes made me feel at home, as she laid her soft sweet kisses on my lips the birds started to sing, the winds stoped to have a look, the skies turned dark, and the clouds joyfully cried, the sweet laughter, oh the sweet laughter one that i cannot forget. I fell in love with her the day i looked in her beautiful eyes, how beautiful the words can not summarise. My eyes couldn’t stop looking at her, every time i looked at her there was something new to fall in love with, the way her eyes collided with mine the stars forgot their shine, her lips dripped the most delicious wine. Our love was not meant for this world, this love belonged in the skies.

Many moons ago, i thought i met the one. Her soul and mine collided, stars started to tremble and collide, we looked in each others eyes as too souls conjoined causing these beautiful sparks, sparks that turned into an eternal flame of love and chaos, in that flame i burned alone. Our eyes that made a home was burned as her deceitfulness grew, the soft sweet kisses she laid on my lips made the birds sing, the birds don’t sing, they screech in pain; little did i know. Winds stopped to pity my soul, skies turned dark to take my soul, clouds cried to mourn the death of my naive sweet soul. She saw my burning soul, she fuelled it a little more. She laughed as i fell on my knees with unbearable pain from the knives she left in my back. She made me believe the pain was worth it, so i bared it alone, i drained my energy because i enjoyed the pain of her love so i gave it a little more, now that i have nothing to give left she came back asking for it back. The wine that dripped from her lips was poison in fact, this pain wasn’t made for this world, this pain was for hell alone. ~SA
