Recognising oneself is often shamed upon
Better to see yourself as the murky puddle
Now at least you are aware of your shortfalls
Aiming to be something more is questionable

In life we constantly deceive ourselves like this
Going to parties or gatherings we don't like
Putting on a show of bravado when needed
Never once considering how silly we are being

This life is our opportunity to shine
Shaping life how we want it to be
Rather than wearing other people's ideas
Walking in their shoes that are tatty and worn!

We are the leaders in our lives
Not the sheep who follow on blindly
Having contact with people has to serve you
Meetings and appointments can't be wasted time

Otherwise you are trading in your life
Being the centre of attention for lonliness
Real friends dont demand performance
They salute you for who you are

Be comfortable to walk in your own ideas
