MAY

That writer Bree

Hello May, It’s me again,

Thrilled to see you after April’s rain.

If I may ask, what is it you bring?

A promise of sunshine and birds that sing?

May, you paint the world with hues of green,

Trees in blossom, a sight to be seen.

The air warm, the skies blue,

Nature’s rebirth and a fresh start anew.

May I ask, will the flowers bloom?

A fragrant display, filling every room.

With petals soft, and colors bright,

You make the world a dazzling sight.

May, you usher in a time of change,

A chance to grow and rearrange.

The past is gone, the future bright,

With possibilities, out of sight.

If I may, I’ll dance with glee,

And celebrate what you bring to me.

A time of warmth, a time of joy,

Hey May, You are the real McCoy.

So here’s to you, dear Month of May,

May you bring us love and hope each day.

As we journey on, with each new dawn,

May you light our way, and guide us on.

                                                  Love, B.
