Out Of Love

Robert Isaacs Chiwala

A sincere feeling

That heart do hold

To do a thing for someone

Or give a thing to someone

Sometimes maybe sympathy

But where does it arise

Is it from a feeling of hate?

Really it must be love

Words from true feelings

Heartstrings not moulded

But arose from no where

The feeling that grows with time

It is not just about a body

But behaviours not feigned

Laughs and smiles not forced

True feelings a heart hold

When I say I do love you

These are not just mare words;

Empty echoes of lust

But sincere feelings from my heart
