Once upon a time, a boy saw a girl,In a social media post, she made his heart whirl.

He was too shy to speak, too afraid to try,
But he couldn't help but wonder and sigh.

Two years went by, before he finally said hi,
And they became good friends, to his great delight.
She had her bad times, but he stood by her side,
He watched her grow stronger, with each passing stride.

But then he made a mistake, he wanted more,
He tried to control her, and that made her sore.
They fought twice, and he always turned away,
But she was kind, and forgave him each day.

Then one day, he crossed a line he shouldn't have,
He misbehaved with her, and it made her feel bad.
He was confused, did he want more than friendship,
But she was clear, it was a bond she couldn't skip.

He apologized, and she forgave him once more,
But the boy had grown wiser than before.
He understood his mistakes, and wished he could go back,
But he couldn't undo what he did, or cover up his tracks.

Now he wonders, will he ever find,
A friendship like before, or will it always be in his mind?
He hopes he will, but he knows it won't be the same,
He's learned his lesson, and he's the one to blame.
