I Am Me

Kat Da Poet

I am an octopus, putting on a mask,

Reaching out to more than one task.

I am a snail, slowly moving,

Hard to know where I am going.

I am a snake, slithering on the ground,

Looking for something to eat in a mound.

I am a whale, 79 ft.,

Yet kind and even sweet.

I am a wave, I can be big or small,

But I'm dangerous overall.

Although I am, and always will be,

I Am…

Me.
