Motion Sickness

Mashleyyy

The motion of life, it twists and turns,

As I struggle to find my way,

But the more I try, the more it burns,

And I'm lost in a sea of dismay.

My mind is a ship, a drift on the waves,

And my heart is a compass, shattered and torn,

The horizon's a blur, my hope it depraves,

As I'm tossed and turned, alone and forlorn.

My inner turmoil, it's like motion sickness,

A storm of confusion, a nauseating ride,

I long for stillness, for peace and for stillness,

But my soul is adrift, tossed by the tide.

And so I cling to hope, like a life raft,

As I navigate this stormy sea,

Hoping for a break, for a moment to laugh,

And find the inner peace that will set me free.
