Little Grace

Robert Isaacs Chiwala

Yester night I dreamt her -home

In disbelief I opened her mouth

To see the space between her upper front teeth

My father's little girl

His identical daughter

A thread like tooth has grown

To fill that space -though

It seemed alittle fake

The spaces around it betraying

It seemed not to be a tooth
