All I know

_m_ostwanted

To the moon, I know of a face more beautiful than yours.
To the sun, I know of a light brighter than yours.
To the rain, I know of a sound sweeter than yours.
To the night, I know of a phase darker than yours.
To life, I know of a side not stressful like yours.
To death, you're all I know!

    I choose life.

  • L. B. Mek

'To death, you're that promise I now cherish.'
(and yet, those who find relief
    in that certainty of death
are no longer consumed by fear
    and thus, cherish life...!)
    stay strong, dear poet
    thanks for choosing to share
